Global property services group Knight Frank has announced the launch of its new Valuation Services division in Gauteng which follows on the heels of the group’s successful tie up with top brokerage services company Galetti Knight Frank in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Brian van Vuuren will head up the Gauteng valuations office and will be working alongside an experienced national team of valuers, amongst which include co-Director Gary Wampach (Johannesburg), Martin Fitchet (Durban) and Susan Turner (Cape Town).
Van Vuuren will focus on growing Knight Frank’s valuation services into the investment and corporate sectors where he has been active for more than 20 years.
Fitchet, who sits on the group’s global valuations committee, adds -“We will also be placing strong emphasis on furthering cross-border relationships with our colleagues in Africa and to share market knowledge and country practices. To this end, the group has recently held its third annual valuations conference in Zanzibar, an initiative which we began in 2011 and which brings together over 40 valuation staff from all over Africa”.
The South African network also offers specialist Agricultural valuation services headed by Susan Turner and mortgage valuations under Gary Wampach.
